Our Purpose

We promote wholeness to those who are broken from abuse, addiction and trafficking through a Christian program designed to restore, strengthen, confirm and establish individuals through the power of Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you."
1 Peter 5:10 (ESV)

The Lord has given us a very specific vision on how to minister to those who have been affected by the abuse, addiction and trafficking epidemic.

For the first phase of our vision we are currently seeking property and housing to begin the “Whole-way” housing project. This project consists of a halfway house environment that instills Biblical principles, along with effective case management services to include intensive outpatient, life skills and career counseling.

The second phase of our vision is prayerfully expected to begin in 2020. This clinical residential will be a 12-month program that will instill healing through a Whole-listic approach through a new Wholeness Theory that includes intense therapeutic care and structured programing.

"Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret."

Ephesians 5:11-1 (NLT)

Florida's drug treatment industry is filled with insurance fraud, body-brokering and sex trafficking. Addicts fall victim to scams and abuse as overdoses increase.

The Problem

"Who will protect me from the wicked?
Who will stand up for me against evildoers?"

Psalm 94:16 (NLT)

"Rescue the weak and the needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.”

Psalm 82:4 (ESV)

“In 2013, 108,030 domestic violence incidents were reported to police in Florida. Many more incidents went unreported. 170 domestic violence homicides took place in Florida in 2013. Guns were used in 56% of domestic violence homicides in Florida from 2006 to 2012.” (NCADV, 2015)

“55% of North Americans are victims of sexual abuse. 1 in 5 male children, and 1 in 3 female children will be sexually assaulted before they reach adulthood. 69% of substantiated physical abuse involved inappropriate punishment
68% of substantiated sexual abuse involved touching and fondling
58% of substantiated emotional maltreatment involved exposure to family violence
48% of substantiated cases of neglect primarily involved failure to supervise the child properly, which lead to physical harm
Abusers are commonly known to the survivor”  (The National Clearinghouse on Family Violence)

Drug & Alcohol Addiction

"And lead us not into temptation,
    but deliver us from evil."

Matthew 6:13(ESV)

“On average, 130 Americans die every day from an opioid overdose. From 1999 to 2017, more than 700,000 people have died from a drug overdose. Around 68% of the more than 70,200 drug overdose deaths in 2017 involved an opioid. In 2017, the number of overdose deaths involving opioids (including prescription opioids and illegal opioids like heroin and illicitly manufactured fentanyl) was 6 times higher than in 1999.” (CDC, 2017)

Sex Trafficking & Exploitation

"For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons and daughters ...

(Romans 8:15 ESV)

"Around the world, approximately 27 million men, women, and children are enslaved and trafficked. Florida is commonly cited along with New York and California as being one of the top destinations for trafficking victims in the United States, but in Miami alone, $235M is generated through the exploitation of captive adults and children."  (Glory House of Miami, 2011)

About Our Program

Our program believes in a Whole-listic approach that focuses on the human body as a “whole being”. We believe that we are created as spiritual beings, clothed with a body, mind, emotion and will. We promote wholeness by first addressing the spiritual needs of an individual through Biblical principles by adding prayer, study and application of the Word of God. We address wholeness through the body by exercise, eating healthy and the implementation of scriptural healing. The Word of God says to be transformed by the renewing of your minds. We promote wholeness by renewing the mind through art, music and animal therapies, along with mental health counseling. Wholeness Ministries promotes wholeness to emotions by instinctively changing the way one views their circumstances. We teach individuals to reject, resist and replace negative thoughts, which restores the peace of one’s mind. Our team promotes a healthy will by implementing case management, along with continuing education, career counseling, life skills and re-entry services.
